I am a 67 years old basement piano player. At a young age, my sister taught me a few songs on the piano from then on I developed a style. Deprived of a musical ear, rhythm, voice and musical formation, I only knew what sounded good or not good. I must of put a million hours of enjoyment on the piano and still do. Playing with what sounds nice got me creating songs replaying over and over what should come next, sometimes mistakes would be the next note or chord. Here is one about growing old, written 30 years ago, sang by my now desceased friend Carole Crete, a hired sax and guitar in a local recording studio. The song is part of a french Musical I wrote with 8 songs, naration and choreography and still to be produce. I enjoy volunteering my piano playing in pension homes, they enjoy it so much and don't care if you make mistakes. lol
